Conditions of Guarantee

Your new Baumatic appliance automatically comes with a 1 year parts and labour warranty. As testimony to our commitment to you, our valued customer, Baumatic will offer you a second year's labour and an additional 4 years' parts warranty absolutely free on certain products.


Registration must be returned to Baumatic within 28 days of purchase to qualify for the free 2nd year labour warranty and 4 years parts warranty.


Conditions of Warranty

  • Your appliance is automatically covered by warranty for 12 months for parts and labour from the date of purchase (the “Initial Warranty Period”). We will repair any defect that arises due to faulty materials or workmanship free of charge during this Initial Warranty Period.

  • In addition, your appliance is covered by a parts only warranty for a total of five years from the date of purchase, including the ‘initial warranty period’. Baumatic will provide the parts that are required to repair the appliance free of charge, provided that the parts are fitted by a Baumatic engineer.

  • You may extend the Initial labour Warranty Period free of charge to two years by registering with Baumatic within 28 days of the date of purchase of the appliance

  • If during the Extended Warranty Period or parts only warranty, the appliance fails and is considered uneconomical to repair (i.e. where the cost of the repair is greater than fifty percent of the value of a replacement appliance), Baumatic will offer you the opportunity to purchase the same or an equivalent model at a discounted price and this shall be your sole remedy.

  • Should any person other than an authorised representative of Baumatic attempt a repair to your appliance, the warranty will be invalid.

  • The warranty covers the appliance for normal domestic use only.

  • Any claims made under the terms of the warranty must be supported by the original invoice or bill of sale issued at the time of purchase.

  • This warranty applies to UK mainland and Northern Ireland only.

  • This warranty is transferable only with the written consent of Baumatic.




This Warranty does not cover:

  • Any gas appliance installed in any type of marine vessel (this exclusion includes longboats and barges).

  • Faults that arise as a result of failure by persons other than authorised representatives of Baumatic to comply with Baumatic’s installation and user instructions.

  • The replacement of cosmetic components or accessories; accidental damage or wilful abuse.

  • Incorrect installation by persons other than authorised representatives of Baumatic

  • Whilst all reasonable care will be taken Baumatic does not accept liability for damage sustained to property other than as a result of its negligence in the process or moving or repairing the appliance.

  • In the course of the work carried out it may be necessary to remove the appliance from itsoperation position. If the appliance is glued, grouted or installed in such a way that it cannot be removed; it is the responsibility of the customer to remove and re-install the appliance.

  • Losses caused by Acts of God, civil war, failure to obtain spare parts, strikes or lockouts, filters, fuses, light bulbs, external hoses, damage to bodywork, paintwork, plastic items, covers, baskets, trays, shelves, burner bases, burner caps, decals, corrosion and transit damage.

  • This warranty is in addition to and does not diminish your statutory or other legal rights.
